Don your Dirndl and Lederhosen at this year’s Oktoberfest, September 25th and 26th at the Upper Big Four Building on Stampede Park. There’s no better way to enjoy the festivities than to dress up, dance and have fun with the authentic German Knights Band and Schuhplattler Dancers!
“Oktoberfest is about celebration and fun, and we want everyone to join in! The German Knights play traditional German Oomph music. We even have Schuhplattler Dancers to show you all the right moves and get you up on your feet,” says Mark Kondrat, ABF’s Director of Operations.
Don’t have dirndl or lederhosen? Alberta Beer Festivals has you covered, Oktoberfest hats and t-shirts are available when you buy your tickets online or onsite at Oktoberfest!
What to Expect
Similar to the original Munich festival which celebrates local beer, Calgary Oktoberfest will feature local and authentic Bavarian breweries. Taste beers like no other from special locally brewed casks, sample from an amazing beer selection and try some delicious food from Calgary’s best restaurants and pubs at Oktoberfest!

Alberta Beer Festivals – Brewing Beer Culture
At Alberta Beer Festivals, we strive to educate our fellow Albertans on all things beer related! Part of what we do is promote craft beer created in our own back yard, in addition to creating a brew culture with positive experiences for everyone.
